SMS Terms and Conditions

How our appointment-reminder and practice-communication text program works.

Program description

Anniston Medical Clinic may send text messages to patients who opt in to our SMS program. Messages include appointment reminders, arrival instructions, portal invitations, prescription-ready notices, and occasional practice updates.

Opt-in

By providing your mobile number during registration or through the patient portal and consenting to receive text messages, you agree to these terms. The clinic does not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Message frequency

Frequency varies based on your care — most patients receive no more than a handful of messages per month. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Opt-out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You can also update your preferences in the patient portal or by calling the clinic at 256-236-5631. Opting out of SMS does not affect other communication channels (phone, portal, mail).
